Company History

Our Company mission objective is the full implementation of our clients' vision, using a combination of advance lighting technology and software to get the ideal special effect that was requested.

In 1997 SGF Associates Inc., lunched our Headquarter in New York, with the excitement of the possibilities the US market holds.

SGF started developing custom F.O.L. system for our clients.  We were the first to introduce Quartz Glass (“OPRA”) and LEDs to Architectural Lighting Application to the U.S. Market.

Over the years, SGF has expanded its network in various applications such as the manufacturing of custom fiber optic components and fixtures for international market.

In 1998, after discovering the future trend of Lighting Emitting Diodes ("LED") applications, we saw its potential in the lighting industry. We began researching white LED lighting development to create consistent brilliant color to incorporate into our lighting effect designs.

We offer our knowledge and expertise in designing a suitable custom application to fit each of our clients (such as architecture and lighting design clients and much more). Each project that we accept had a different LED system, hardware, software and fixture to match its' clients specification.

Since 1999, we have been working closely with major LED manufactures, such as Nichia.  We provide the upfront sales and design solution with associated LED engineering partners to meet clients’ specified application demand.

With more demand and request for our service in the Asian Market, we have established an SGF service office (SGF Hong Kong Ltd.) in Hong Kong in 2004.

We at SGF are constantly researching for newer, advance technology as well as lighting source to meet our clients' needs. We understand our clients need, and design customize products to fulfill their unique requests. Over the years, SGF has completed countless exciting projects with many world known lighting design consultants and architectures design firms. We have overcome many challenges and found countless solutions to meet our clients vision.

Our goal is to guide our clients with our strong know-how methods to leap from the "off-the-shelf" products to something very uniquely their own.
